 The Business
Shopping By Appointment had humble beginnings at a Sunday market stall on the Sunshine Coast in 2005.
Very quickly the demand for our well priced range of fashion saw us launch shopping parties and later a full blown business including a showroom open by appointment, and personal styling and wardrobe consultation services.
The Products
The Shopping by Appointment fashion range is designed to be flexible to women from varied walks of life with varied budget, style and schedule. We have an always changing range that consists of a variety of labels which all target different body shapes and styles. We are always seeking out and adding labels to help you find common sense everyday dressing that suits you.
But what we do is so much more than fashion. On a daily basis we empower women to find fashion that makes them feel great, and this is something you just can't put a price tag on.
Shopping By Appointment has a real desire to help every client they come into contact with learn to embrace their body shape and enjoy the skin they are in! After working in the industry for a while now and listening to different client's comments we're on a mission to bring a new positive focus to women, empowering all women to feel good in fashion.

 Mandy Hargreaves – Director
Australia's answer to Trinny & Susannah rolled into one!!!
Mandy Hargreaves began Shopping By Appointment out of a desire to create a flexible career that she could juggle around her two boys. She drew on her extensive background in retail and desire to help women enjoy shopping again.
Mandy began her career in fashion in the early ‘90s with Burston Enterprises in Mackay. Renound in the industry for their dynamic fashion business including different stores targeting different demographics, Mandy's “apprenticeship” with the Burston's Group saw amazing opportunity and insight offered to her and quickly worked into management at just 18 years old.
Heavily involved in the development of stores and intricate details of the business, Mandy received a thorough retail education that has set her in good stead for the future.
Working with a family that do things the good old fashioned way, meant Mandy learnt how to ‘fit ‘women properly – a rare skill that is often lost in today's ‘here today, gone tomorrow' retail trainees.
Mandy also spent 18 months working in the Wholesale Fashion Indusrty. Selling to retailers offered Mandy a new insight into wholesale operations including importing and different retailing styles and secrets!!
Mandy is also a fully qualified underwear fitter having worked with leading underwear labels such as Calvin Klein, Bendon and Hickory. Which as very helpful when working with women and fitting swimwear. Of all the things women dislike doing shopping for swimwear has got to be one of them. This experience offered further insight for Mandy.

Mandy has a real desire to help every client to learn to embrace their body shape and enjoy the skin your in! The years of listening to ladies talk about there bodies has lead to our mission to use fashion to empower you, not torture you!Mandy is on a mission to bring a new positive focus to women and put the fun back into fashion.

Kellie has a fantastic manner and enjoys helping women to feel good in the skin they're in! Kelly has an extremely high level of customer service and enjoys meeting new clients when holding Boutique Shopping Parties.
Kellie is a dynamic and integral part of our team who also looks after our consultants and Boutique Party promotions. Kellie brings a great attitude and fantastic disposition to our team and is always there to support and encourage our consultants.
Kellie brings lots fun to the office and she is a riot at any Boutique Shopping Party she holds. A very personable character that will make you feel good in the skin you're in! Kellie offers all ladies great style advice and practical tips for finding styles to suit the individual. Her wealth of experience as an active consultant herself means she really understands what the consultants face and can offer some great strategies to dealing with different situations.

 Madeline Lamont
Company Style Consultant, Promotions assistant & Model Supervisor
As a long standing Shopping By Appointment member Madeline has joined us at many events. Her imperative assistance has ensured both smooth behind the scenes and brilliant catwalk presentations at many Fashion Parades. Madeline is featured in many of our photo albums and really shows how great a woman with a positive focus looks. Madeline's guidance, support and encouragement is an essential support to all our Models.
Madeline also holds regular Boutique Shopping Parties as a style consultant, and enjoys helping women to shop for styles that suit them! Madeline is an experienced consultant who can offer great insight to help you learn to shop for your body shape. As a busy mum Madeline understands how important it is to make shopping as enjoyable and convenient as possible!
 Danielle Baxter
Website management & Events assistant
Danielle understands the message Shopping By Appointment want to send to all women..... Feel good in the skin you're in! Danielle regularly loads images of events that capture us on the road. Danielle is working on many different projects that will offer our clients more help and services, educating all women on shopping for styles that suit their individual style and body shape.
Danielle brings extensive retail and style experience and adds a great flare to our team.  Yvette Adams
Marketing/Website
It was Yvette's grandmother who introduced her to the wonderful world of fashion. An avid op shopper, Margaret taught Yvette the labels and the styles from across the eras and their annual ritual was sitting down to watch the New Zealand Fashion Awards together.
Margaret may no longer be with us, but Yvette's passion for fashion remains.
A true Mumpreneur in every sense, Yvette Adams is the owner/director of The Creative Collective http://www.TheCreativeCollective.com.au, co-founder of http://www.yummiemummie.com.au/ and is responsible for all of Shopping By Appointment's online and offline marketing, including website development.

Tracey has had a long career in accounts and administration having worked in for large scale electronics companies. She is currently completing an accounts related Degree. If you have a query about any accounts related issues, Tracey is your girl!
